Thermography
Locating leaks in the building envelope using thermography requires a difference in temperature and a difference in pressure. A thermal imaging camera captures the typical temperature patterns that occur when cold air enters the building through joints, sweeps along a surface and cools it down. By combining BlowerDoor testing and thermography, leaks in the building envelope can be easily and reliably detected and documented, especially in very large buildings.
