BlowerDoor MultipleFan

BlowerDoor Measurements of large buildings and very airtight buildings, guard zone measurements

Trainer: Dipl.-Ing. Stefanie Rolfsmeier
Organized by: Energie- und Umweltzentrum am Deister GmbH

Course Content

BlowerDoor Measurements of large buildings pose a particularly interesting challenge for measuring teams. In this seminar, you will learn how to set up and lay out the measuring systems, how to conduct the measurements, how to prepare the building, how to detect leakages, as well as how to draw up a proposal and provide a cost estimation for the measurement of large buildings like office buildings, production halls, etc. In addition, you will be trained in dealing with very airtight buildings like halls with oxygen reduction, and in guard-zone measurements, e.g. of apartments with access galleries.

Measurements of large buildings

  • Determining the necessary number of BlowerDoor fans
  • Particularities in building preparation and leakage detection, e.g. thermal imaging
  • Conducting a BlowerDoor Measurement with two or more BlowerDoor fans using the software TECLOG 4
  • Assessing and evaluating data, documenting measurements
  • Explanations as to problems and obstacles measurement teams may encounter at construction  sites
  • Cost estimation

    Measurements of very airtight buildings
  • Special observations for these types of measurements
  • Conducting a BlowerDoor Measurement of a very airtight test object using  the software TECLOG 4

    Guard-zone measurements
  • Special observations for these types of measurements
  • Conducting a guard-zone measurement in two sections with two BlowerDoor measuring fans

Benefit
You will benefit from expanding your range of work to large buildings, usually commercial and non-residential buildings, to very airtight buildings, and to apartments with access galleries.
